Brief CV
Dr. Rasoul Rasoulipour, was born in June 1964. He has been teaching at Kharazmi University since 1989 as a faculty member of the Dept. of Philosophy, Faculty of Literature and Humanities. He did his B.A. and M.A. in Islamic Theology and Islamic Philosophy at Shahid Motahari Theological College, Tehran, Iran. For the Ph.D. program, he went to University of Pune, India, to do his research on Philosophy of Religion. A few years later, he took a postdoctorate position at the Center for Philosophy of Religion, University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA, where he taught comparative courses on Shiism and Catholicism for 3 years. 
He is an international reciter of the Holy Quran. He is fluent in English and Arabic languages, and is a well known interfaith dialoguer. In addition, he has been a member of the British Society for the Philosophy of Religion (since 2006), and a member of the Religions and Spiritualities' Council, Fetzer Institute, Kalamazoo, Michigan (since 2011).
